The listing, UNIQUE SILVER AND MARCASITE PENDANT has ended.

This auction is for a beautiful and eye catching pendant. Its so unique.. the design is of an encircled cross thats been show cased by mid night black marcasite stones! Set in silver?with a nice size bail that allows it to be worn on many different size necklaces, cords and european chains. It measures 1 2/8"x 6/8"x1/8" and is a well made piece. It is stamped with what appears to be a "W." or "AAV.".. something along those lines. I cant see it clearly enough to say for sure. This can be worn with any attire and will be noticed!

I won this and have never worn it.. I was told its a pretty old piece. I wonder about the maker's mark too.. Its not an exact clear engraving, mabey from wearing it.

Yes there is, more so in the lines and on the back. I didnt want to use a tarnish cleaner because I know nothing about marcasite and didnt want to damage them. I wiped it off with soap and water though.. and a little came off. Sorry about the pics, I have an older cell that I have yo take them with...

You can clean Marcasite with most anything. It's pretty much like glass
