I have here a bag of all natural mineral sea salt, which is exactly what you need to use to clean new body piercings such as your belly button, tongue, surface piercings, eyebrow, etc....

This salt is better than what you get out of the store because it is mineral salt, it is unprocessed and full of minerals that will greatly help keep your piercing and ring clean.

Here is how to use it: Mix 1/8 teaspoon of this salt with 1 ounce of warmed distilled water. You will want the water to be about the temperature of barely drinkable coffee, the warmer the better but do not burn yourself. For piercings that are on a flat part of your body, such as your stomach, take a cup with the salt solution over it to create a suction then turn it up until your piercing is submerged. Keep it there for 10-15 twice a day until your piercing is completely healed. For places such as your nose or ear, if you are not able to dip it in the solution, it may be easier to dip cotton balls in the solution and saturate the area several times.

ALWAYS dry with a disposable paper towel, never use regular towels as they can carry bacteria. Also, make sure you wash your hands before you clean your piercing.
