Note from seller - The instructions say to install it under the battery, however, I have found that it works best if you place it as near as possible to your device's internal antenna. I have an iPhone and I placed mine on the OUTSIDE pointing down, because my phone's internal antenna is at the bottom and I can't get to the battery. I went from no service (at work) to 3 to 4 bubbles (bars of service) after installing it. And it's peel and stick so you can adjust it's location if needed.

Hi I have a question about my mobile hotspot and this device. Can you use this with mobile hotspot or are they only for cell phones. I have a case that is a mobile hotspot for my iPod touch if I were able to put this in the back of the case what it boost my signal or can you only use this with phones that have removable batteries. I also have an iPhone 4s and everybody knows it does not have a removable battery. is it able to work with the iPod touch case in the iPhone

My phone is an iphone 4 and I put mine on the bottom at the back pointing down because that is where the internal antenna is. It helped tremendously. I'm sorry but I don't know about mobile hot spots. I have never heard anyone say if they have tried it either.
