The listing, Western Digital 40GB Hard Drive Windows XP Pro SP3 has ended.

I have this hard drive that came from an old computer. I plugged it into my computer and it works.

The drive is a Western Digital WD Protege Enhanced IDE Hard Drive, WD400, MDL WD400EB-00CPF0, 40GB

I am not a computer tech so if you have a question please include instructions on how to find the answer.

Has Win XP Pro SP3. While I had it connected, I added my motherboard drivers and did the 99+ updates required by windows. So no updating is needed as of now.

I checked it and it says genuine and validated. I do not have a code for it so if you wipe it, you'll have only a hard drive and you will lose the OS.

It also has Firefox, ASUS Motherboard Drivers and AVG Anti-Virus Free Edition already installed.
