This is a lovely ring. I am not sure what the center stone is, it is clear, on each side there is a tiny diamond set in a detailed solid sterling ring setting stamped 925 and what looks like an 8, but the ring measures a size 7.
It is pretty old. The face of the center stone looks nice, I did not see any chips or scratches. On the back of the stone I did notice a teeny tiny chip, so it is not perfect, but who is.
This would make a lovely engagement ring or wedding ring I f you were to clean it really good, the stones would really sparkle!
