F & W, looking for a small pocket knife for my cub scout, he's earning his Whittling Chip award.

Thanks for watching & fanning.
I just fanned you back, too.☺
I was in the Cub Scouts too and I have lot of good memories from there.
There are now more good activities in the scouts than they used to have.
I plan on listing more small pocket knives in the near future.
Most all of them are good for whittling.

Gotta love those USA made knives, especially the cases. F/W...
What is that mark, oxide stain?

Thank you for your inquiry, watching this & fanning me &.
I just fanned you back, too.☺
You are probably right, I don't know for sure, but it looks like it could be an oxide stain.
The 440 steel is a harder metal than stainless steel, but the trade off is it can occasionally stain.

What exactly is wrong with the one blade?
May 20th, 2014 at 6:24:46 PM PDT by
Original
Thanks for your question.☺
This knife is fully functional with nothing at all wrong with it except for the flaw markings on the main blade, which only takes away a bit of its beauty.
Everything on this knife works perfect but the one blade is just not as pretty to look at.

Thank you very much for your appreciation and for bringing up the tin box.☺
I forgot to mention in the ad that the tin box looks like new, because it doesn't have any scratches on it at all.
