Up for bids today is a vintage piece of local advertising for Green Acres Discount Store. While the store has long-been defunct, I still have one booklet that held the discount stamps they gave away, to help further discount any purchases; whether it was an item in the store, or later, even toward the purchase of gasoline. Notice that the sixth picture from the bottom mentions "... the gas war." I grew up in that era, so I remember the gasoline wars that they had. Many people took to walking or riding their bicycles everywhere they had to go-even to work! (My Dad rode his bike to work countless times!) All of this simply put, means that this booklet is from the 1970's. PLEASE, SCOUR THE PICTURES CAREFULLY. They ARE part of the ACTUAL DESCRIPTION, this time. I didn't take pix of all the pages; only just enough to give you a fair idea of what it's like. This is a nice item, and has been well-kept. Ok, good luck everyone, & start bidding! =)
