You put tea bags in it & you can take them out through the slot in the bottom! I know these were around in the 60's & 70's. Haven't seen one in a very long time! Very nice!

Are there any cracks or breaks that have to be mended? My daughter makes tea all the time and would love this to hold her tea bags in. Right now, they are scattered all over my counter. We could use this very much. Thanks for listing it. Fanned, watching and bidding.
