F&W&Bidding My husband needs it to help him and his house!!!
Thanks! Honestly, I think every house needs to be smudged. And not just where you live! Lol, I sage myself before I pray or meditate and especially if I am in a bad mood or I dont feel well. I sage everyone in my life that i am close to, my dog, the in & outside of my car (especially before roadtrips) stuff I buy second-hand, books, you name it, I sage it. I hope it helps your hubby's house!
Thank you, everybody! I love that there are people out there (like you guys:) that appreciate something like this. I sencerilly enjoy the whole entire process of making these, from planting to binding. Fanned y'all back ♡
Historically, in many cultures burning sage has been used as a "clearing" or a "cleansing" tool. It is believed to ward off negative energy or spirits that may be present or lingering in the space you keep. Residuals from a bad mood, an argument or maybe even a violent outburst can hold space in the environment in which it took place. It is also used prior to meditation, rituals, yoga, relaxation, after a crappy day, before an important event, or used to invoke focus & or intent with a specific task or decision. I use many different kinds of sage because each plant is native to a certain part of the world. And in each of those places, the smoke from that particular sage bush was used for specific purposes. I think by incorporating a variety of sage into one stick to smudge with, I cover more of my bases. I feel like its accomplishing more by combining the traditions of positive healing together.
I hope that gives a little bit more clarity to the purpose of burning sage. There is rich history of smudging throughout time. Too much to cover today!
