Hello and welcome to my Listia auction!

I have up for grabs at this time 50+ Lacy Phacelia seeds. These are just so pretty.

Lacy Phacelia is native to Southwestern US and Northern Mexico. They can be found all over the US now. It can be used as a cover crop, a bee crop, an attractant for other beneficial insects, and an ornamental plant.

The flowers open in sequence giving a long flowering season. Lacy Phacelia is a good insectary plant, attracting pollinators such as honey bees. They also attract hoverflies which are useful as biological pest control agents because they eat aphids and other pests.

Lacy Phacelia seeds will only germinate in darkness, but are very easy to grow.

Are they perennial in zone 7

They're an annual but if the seeds drop to the ground they act like a perennial and come up year after year. They are very adaptable and as long as they are in a sunny spot they grow in zones 3-10

I live in Florida. Does this do well in tropical climates?

Yes it does. It loves warm sunny areas. Its originally from desert areas in the southwestern US and Mexico. It adapts well to other climates and it does well in most zones found in the US and some in Canada.
