wow...I would have these checked out for sure cause if they are real man they will bring some good cashflow exspecially in the condition they look to be in you may have a nice little mint there with the coins you have listed
Nice auction Jason and Welcome to Listia! A little information about the two 1804 silver coins you currently have listed:
There are only 19 "authentic" 1804 silver dollar coins in the entire world of which six of them are "Re-sticks". One of them is at the Smithsonian Institute, one of the originals was auctioned in 1999 for $4,140,000 " and one of the "Re-strick" coins was auctioned in 2009 for $2,300,000.
I'm sure that the coin in this auction is what is referred to as a "Duplicate Round" in .999 silver called "Miao Silver Carvings". These rounds can be purchased for as little as $55 each.
STILL A VERY NICE AUCTION IF THIS IS A GENUINE .999 SILVER ROUND!
Hey Einstein. I have already announced that these are more than likely reprints, and if the winner wishes to get a refund. I will gladly do so. Not all of us are up to date on the rarities of coins. So if you do not like my post buzz off to another please.
Well Jason may I say welcome to listia and you have some cool coins up for auction. The only problem is your not sure whats real or not so how are we suppose to bid with confidence that these coins are real ? Because obliviously the 1804 isn't real but what about the peace dollar and trade dollars you have listed ? It makes a huge difference if they're real or not were talking hundred if not thousands of dollars difference between a genuine coin and a real coin . You have a few listed my friend so I would suggest going to your local coin store tomorrow and getting all your coins looked at because it'll make a huge difference in the amount of points you get if you ca get these coins authenticated . Just some helpful suggestions and welcome to listia i have fanned and I'm watching .
