In football for the Atari 2600, each team has only 3 players, on defense, you must position your men to stop the opponent from gaining any yardage as they march toward your end zone on offensive, you can pass, run, and punt. You score points by crossing the opponents end zone to score a touchdown (7 points) or tackling your opponent in their end zone for safety points (2 points). The game does not allow field goals or fumbles.
