this is 11" round heavy duty toy, it has intertwined mini mac truck tires, with a huge bell inside. I bought this for my blind dog thinking because of the bell she would be able to find it. she hates it. it isn't for a small dog, Med/Large dog who plays rough would love this. it come from Pet Qwerks Inc.

Questions & Comments

Would you recommend this for a Jack Russell? Or would it be better for a shepherd/lab mix? Thanks :)

I have a 13 lb Terrier, what I should have said was not for a yorkie/ Pug size dog.
a JRT it would be fine for, they are so active he/she would have a blast with it.
I have bought everything people have told me to get for a blind dog and all she wants anything she can kill or suck on.

Thanks :) I'm glad you're willing to care for a blind dog :) not too many people would! I used to take care of a blind dog for my friend (he had a Pekingese) His dog would whine whenever he couldn't sense me :( I used to have to pick dog up and bring him out to go potty (because my friend had a ramp on house) I forgot one day when I brought out my friend's other dogs(4 ) and the blind dog tried to follow other dogs down ramp but fell off the side :( Luckily he wasn't hurt from the fall :)

we adopted her last May, knew she had cataracts , she just turned 5. what we didn't know until all the test were done before the surgery was she had PRA a genetic condition that nothing could be done for. she just went blind this past Feb. I read a lot joined blind dog group. and today you'd never know she was blind outside, being a Terrier as you well know, there fearless and full of mischief. I keep auctioning off the toys I buy for her because I'm told blind dogs love them, only to find she doesn't.

It's tough to find toys that blind dogs will play with :( Hopefully you'll be able to find something that she'll play with :) Glad to hear that she's doing good though and still full of mischief :) I fanned you

Awe, I'm so happy when I hear people have special needs animals, most people give up, not you though, God Bless you :) I rescued my dog Layla, Pit Bull/ Pointer, when I brought my family back the next morning just waiting for there doors to open I asked for her, the jerk guy working there said with a strange remark " The Black and White One". ??? I was like Yea, the Black & White One, with a little nasty look on my face, it made my husband question weather or not she was bad or something, she has been the best well behaved dog ever, and I mean ever! There's not a toy she can't destroy though. Thanks. FW Nikki & Layla:)

TY I adopted Molly knowing she had problems, I thought they could be repaired, But I'm not one bit sorry I kept her, she is a love and typical Terrier. I just won a Kong on here, and I'm so surprised she loves it. of course treats go in it first then she actually plays with it for awhile.
Pleas if you win you must let me know how Layla does with this toy.

Molly has PRA, just went totally blind in Feb, and she hates this toy. only likes things she can suck on, lick, and kill the stuffing out of.
