kennethdahnke why tell someone Not to give out the esn/imei; that's stupid. Having the esn/imei only verifies it is neither stolen, nor still under contract. It serves absolutely no other purpose. Without someone being in actual possession of the phone, s/he can't do anything but verify the auction is legitimate. Be careful what sort of advice you're doling out to the uninformed.

its a little card that fits in the back of the phone I believe that is what holds your info
