I made this turtle baby out of clay, then baked it in a special, new oven that will never be used to cook food. I painted it with heat reborn paints (3-4 very thin layers baking each layer). The last things I added was the green shell that I also made out of clay with the edges and details painted. This baby has very fine details including blushing and creases (my camera isn't very good it looks much better in real life). It measures only 2 1/2 inches long. It takes a lot of time to make one of these. I love to make reborn baby dolls but I now love making clay babies also. I tried to add lots of picts. so you can see all around the baby.

Please feel free to ask questions and please read listing before you bid. This was made in a smoke free home and will be shipped fast. I ship the baby very safe (wrapped in a foam sheet, placed in a 4x4x4 box, sealed shut, then placed in a waterproof shipping bag)

Please look at my other clay baby and other items on Listia when I post them. I just found out I have breast cancer a few weeks ago so it's taking me longer to make and post these with all of the doctor appointments. I should have a few more done in a few days.
