Questions & Comments
Is it over? Has Collectortrev vanquished all challengers?.....Does MandyScott have enough fight left in her to take him down?..... Maybe debbie242010 will go all in and stun all watchers. No..... maybe CollectorTrev is the only one with his priorities straight and will be the one hoisting this prize over his head in victory in the end. Good luck!
We do have an overstock of chrono trigger, and listing one is a possibility but it would have to be after the current auctions complete and I see how everything goes. I am still evaluating the listia service. If you have other cartridge games you want to get rid of you can email us at classicgamestore@gmail.com and we may be able to work out a trade.
Quite the evaluation. Regardless, this is not some basement sale this cartridge is from ClassicGameStore.net We are top rated sellers on ebay, we have a seller score of 100 on amazon, and have been buying and selling video games since 1998. We currently have over 10,000 games in inventory from atari to ps4. You can bid with confidence and will get tracking within 24 hours.
The original version of earthbound was made in mexico. US Earthbound carts were all assembled in mexico. Any earthbound carts you find with made in Japan on the back either had their backs swapped or are fake. Earthbound was outsourced by nintendo for assembly in mexico cart from the start. This is an original cartridge ...
Pretty easy to spot the fake when you have a legit cart next to it:
Fake cart has:
1) Large Rights Reserved mark on Super Nintendo name 2) Trademark symbol on KA rating mark 3) Appears shinier and newer than the real one shown - the game is 17 years old and likely will not look that new unless it was kept in an airtight seal since release 4) Caution label shows numerous differences - Model # information missing (though could just be cropped out of the photo shown), no copyright (C) or mask work (M) symbols (again, might be cropped out), says Made in Japan (real says Made in Mexico), different region coding #s (SNS-USA/CAN-1 on fake, M / SNS-USA / CAN-1 on real), and different top label coloring of title
Thank you for being a real new seller. All day long I see these new users who put electronics up, and its annoying. I'm trying to make a new thing where you have to sell one item from another category and THEN you can sell electronics! Good auction and rack up!
The classicgamestore.net sticker just seals the poly bag our games go in after they are tested. It is not on the cartridge. The back of the cartridge and back label is flawless.
@ddarro1 I'm glad that you were able to get your 100k badge in your first auction! Awesome! That's fantastic! It's getting pretty high but I still might be bidding. I'm cheap sometimes, but for stuff like this I'll crack open the credit wallet :-)
The only problem with pricecharting.com is that it gives an average of loose games so $155 is the average. Not taking into account tha actual condition. I commented earlier that I will buy every copy that people have with a full undamaged label for $150. The truth is that copies in excellent condition with undamaged label sell for 200 to 250 and carts with damaged to no label at all sell for 100 to 150, averaging the 155 you see on pricecharting.com
This is a rare game, so could you please go through the steps to earn some verification badges? It's really easy to do. I'll be watching and maybe bidding depending on the badges, and your communication.
Hey guys. Thanks for the tips. This is my first time giving this service a shot. I am a power seller on ebay and have a seller rating of 100 on amazon. You can also see the 6000+ other games I have for sale at www.classicgamestore.net. including an original oversized boxed version of this game i just thought i would kick off my listia experience with a game worth bidding for to see if this would be worth the time to pursue!
Since I am currently packing all the games from today's website orders, I will post a picture of exactly how this game will ship. We clean the cartridge, the contacts, test cartridge and then bag and seal each game with our logo as seen in the last pic. Cartridges ship in double mailer. Boxed games in priority mail boxes. All with tracking.
Was fortunate enough to win a legit Earthbound auction earlier this year from a new member. It's refreshing not to get burned and everyone here does appreciate your effort, ddarro, in quickly getting verified and posting requested photos. It's an amazing title and you will be sure, as Omnicron already stated, to garner a large wealth of credits for it, especially with some big players in the running. Welcome to Listia and best of luck with this auction.
@collectortrev: Amazing how someone with so much feedback could sell - according the feedback you left them - so many fake/pirated games. Kind of weird really, since unless the person buys a graded copy, they're more than likely going to play the game to test it out and find out it's a fake anyway. The fact that some people operate under the pretense that they won't get called on it and not get any credits has always been amazing to me.
I unfortunately bid on an Earthbound last year, from StevenMcflyJr. It ended up being a Taz-Mania game with a poorly printed sticker of an Earthbound label slapped on it. But that was someone with feedback ratings, so you can understand why I made my requests. I see that you quickly earned your verifications and added an avatar photo, which is a lot more than other new members will do when listing rare items for the first auction.
Thanks for understanding, and I'll be bidding as the time runs down. :-D
Very fun game, in any case. Shame they never brought Mother 3 stateside, or even in the digital channels. For all of its cartoon aesthetic, Mother 3 has a seriously dark edge hovering under its surface.
