The listing, Code for Portal 2 (full game) for pc ^-^ has ended.

Up for auction is a special code that came with the early purchase of the game Portal 2 that gives the user of the code a free pc copy:) This is for a FULL VERSION of the game!!!!:)

Steps to use this code are as followed:

on your Playstation 3
1. Create a Playstation Network account, if you haven't already.
2. Press the select button in Portal 2 to access steam. (if you dont have the game then just rent it or borrow it from a friend).
3. Follow the steps on screen to create or login to your free steam account.

your Playstation and steam accounts are now linked, enabling access to Portal 2 on your computer.

Then on your PC or Mac:
1. Get steam at http://www.steampowered.com/getsteam
2. Launch the Steam application.
3. Go to the "games" menu to "Activate a product on Steam" and enter your unique code (which i will email to the winner)

Yes, you would need to own a PS3 or have access to a PS3 then find a copy of Portal 2 for PS3 by either renting it or borrowing it from a friend.

Basically, each PS3 copy of Portal 2 comes with a redeemable copy for PC through Steam. However, it isn't that easy to just share with friends if you want to give it away. The Seller has posted pretty specific instructions although I am not entirely sure they work.

I am sharing what I know because I am attempting to do the same however the Playstation Network is currently down.

the game came with the ps3 game and needs to be activated on steam (which needs to be linked to a ps3 network account) , to get the full free pc version. U could always just rent or borrow the game from a friend and that should work.

you need to link it to the PSN account assoicated with your copy of portal 2. Also you cannot have a steam account logged in on both a ps3 and a pc at the same time.

U can link it to any copy of portal 2 and you can make a steam account with any email.

after you link the account you only have to sign in to the pc; not both.
