Up for auction is this fantastic silver ring size 10, stamped 925. The oval cut mirror green amethyst is amazing. Filigree vines around the main stone and covers the sides of the thick front band. Amethyst is the birthstone of February.

These stones are laboratory created, but their properties, chemical, optical and physical, are identical to that of naturally occurring stones. Man made gems are much hardier than their naturally occurring cousins, not so subject to temperature change, drying out, cracking or grazing.
