I have never used them. I really dont now how that's probably why. I fish off a bank. Does that matter. Everyone I talk to says you need a boat for those. How true is that? Help me out with that. . Are they good for saltwater or freshwater fishing?

I agree with Rebelcoins, I have caught tons of fish on rooster tails . Have caught my limit many, many times.Large and small mouth bass, every kind of bream or perch even catfish.I have never fished saltwater so can't answer that but and anywhere you can throw a rod you can fish with rooster tails.And usually I am fishing from the bank.
