I like silver, but no credits to buy. I just want to say that this seller's being pretty up front by saying "pieces are marked either sterling or 925... but being marked they could still be plated.. a lot of that on the market."

This is very true, and I don't think many people know it. I was only recently made aware of that fact myself. Kudos to lovedalouh for seemingly being honest. :)

deannafaunce7 I have been buying and selling vintage sterling silver for several years now... I have been successful with it and can actually provide references to my knowledge of sterling plus the fact that I do not sell pieces that are not sterling
I have alot of experience testing pieces for sterling content. Most of these pieces are marked either sterling or 925... but being marked they could still be plated.. alot of that on the market. Being marked DOES NOT guarantee that they aren't plated. I test pieces and do not rely on the markings sterling or 925. Also Old Pawn Native American pieces which are sterling very rarely were stamped or marked. That being said... I can promise you that every piece in this lot is sterling.. no plated pieces in this lot :)
