This book is hardcover. Its more or less an autobiographical look at George Carlins life, with funny anecdotes, as well as real life drama that happened in his life( think lots of cocaine!) I will say, the very first blank white page in the beginning of the book has been pulled out. I got this as a gift from a buddy of mine and he left a vulgar funny message in it. Happy Birthday you MF.... etc So I pulled that first page out. It didnt damage any other pages, and it was totally blank to begin with. Ferris Beulers Day off is VHS, and really needs no explanation. One of the funniest comedies of the 1980s!
