This is an awesome coin minted in liberia as a 10.00 coin. If I'm not mistaken it is legal tender in the Republic of Liberia. It features Pope John Paul II and was minted in 2001. It is roughly the size of a silver dollar, maybe a little thicker. I am guessing it weighs about an ounce. It is a proof like coin, I am guessing it is a copper nickel mix or something similar, it does not seem to be silver. It looks perfect but on the reverse there is a little blemish that looks like maybe a polishing tool damaged it right after the A in LiberiA. Hopefully it showed up in the picture.
