Ohhh, nice lot! Can I give you a little advice? Put the TOTAL number of beads the winner will receive in your title and FIRST line (what people see when they search). For example, say 50 beads in your title. Your description is a little confusing, try to make it as plain and clear as possible because you have about 1.5 SECONDS to grab someone's attention if they are browsing or searching bead listings! BEST of luck ... hope you get a TON for this!
Also, if you have a bunch of each color, you might offer to give the winner their choice of how many they want of each color. Another good way to showcase your beads for sale is to string them on a long headpin, with a silver ball or other tiny spacer between each one, crop it in really tight, and make that your first photo. In my opinion, the photos are what really grab people's attention when they are shopping or browsing, and the only see your first photo until they click into the listing.
Your photos are really good, I like the last photo better than the first, but it would pop even more if you had that nice bunch of beads on a white background. Also, try using your photo editing software to increase the contrast to really make them pop. I usually decrease the exposure setting then increase the contrast. Works great!
I think they'll do a lot better if you had something like "50 Swarovski Rondelle Beads ... FIVE colors, 10 each!" That first number, 50 beads, that's a lotta beads, but most people don't want to bid on smaller lots like 10 because you are very limited in what you can do with them. So, if they don't go well this time, try a new strategy before you give up. These are very popular beads on my listings.
On your digital cmera you have a little flower thats the contrast, mines a dumb tulip, but what a difference it makes in your pictures almost evrything i know about my new digital camera, i learned here on listia, the nicest people in the world are Listians. I love this auction, want them BAD!!!
