The listing, Cotton Bias Binding has ended.

New fabric; 5 yards of prewashed Avocado cotton batik bias binding;

Handmade by me, cut 2.75" on the bias, folded in half and sewn along the edge. Measures 1 and 3/8" now.

Great for finishing quilts, wallhangings, potholders, coasters, placemats, anywhere you need sturdy durable binding.

This may sound silly but I am new at sewing. What exact would this be used for?

Great for finishing the raw edges of quilts, wallhangings, potholders, coasters, placemats, anywhere you need sturdy durable binding or edging. Sew it onto one side, fold it over & bring it around to the other side, and fasten either by machine or hand stitching.

I also use it for trim or decorative edging on sewing projects such as tote bags. An example is the purple striped trim on the Dragonfly Tote Bag in my auction right now.

I've also used this bias binding to make narrow straps for over the shoulder purses. It has to be folded in one third of the way and the other edge brought in over that, then stitched.

I'll add another 5 yard bolt (10 yards toatal) of the same binding if we reach 100 credits by closing time!

And 3 bolts (15 yards total) if we reach 150 credits.

And 4 bolts (20 yards total) if we reach 200 credits!
