1944 Canadian "VICTORY" Nickel !!!
This had the same problems the USA steel penny encountered. It stuck to a magnet and caused problems in vending machines, it is also not round, has 16 sides. Like the USA penny it was discontinued after only one year. Like the USA war penny it is made of steel, but unlike the penny it has a chrome instead of zinc outer coating. These are very difficult to find, a huge # of the minted coins were later melted down by the government to remove from circulation. A nice Canadian WW2 historic artifact, with very little wear. good luck

I'm not s huge fan of canadian coins (other than their silver commems...they are cool) but this is one of my favorites. I think there is one with a lynx or something on it too that I like. Watching .
