It is not huge at all. It must be about 10 inches in lenght. It comes with a small coax wire that serves as an adapter. this antenna can hook up to your existing home cable wiring this way you dont have to install any extra wiring. I used it for a couple of years. Mounted to the inside of my bedroom window. It will get a signal where the regular antenna wont.

You know, it is not necessary to use your existing home wiring. I had my radio cradle hooked up to it directly.
