The listing, A dog stakeout with 20 foot chain has ended.

This is the kind that you take out into the yard and just step on it to sink it into the ground with your foot or a rock or something. I don't know where I got it, but it's been laying around for a long time. It ain't all rusted up or anything....just needs a better home. All Listia rules apply. Oh yeah, I think the chain is 20 or 25 feet long and has clips on both ends.

What is the max weight for this set up? I have some tough pit-bulls that ate through their tether ties, those cable things. Vet says to get chains instead.

This ain't for big dogs. I've seen travelers use these and apartment dwellers. This might be good for folks who only want to take their dogs out for a little while or for dogs who run away a lot.
