Nope, you are wrong.Some ancient coins are round, some are not. These are coins which were cleaned at some point to remove the crud that formed over the ages. I guarantee them completely, and have collected ancient coins for over 30 years and I am very knowledgeable about them. What are your credentials?

Ancient coins are not dated by year, but by the reign of the emperor. These have less detail, so it is hard to determine which emperor these were released under, but my guess would be that these coins were minted somewhere between 100-300 AD.
