Is there anything wrong with it? How did you acquire it, did it originally come with an Xbox 360? The reason I am asking is because there are eBay auctions that sell 120GB Hard drives but they are modded by Chinese manufacturers and don't often work 100%.

No, there is nothing wrong with it. It is an elite 120 GB Hard drive that came with the elite console I purchased. I would have been willing to give up the whole elite console but the console continues to overheat and I don't know if it is due to the cord or just the console itself overheating.

It really does heat though as I have tried to play it and every time I play it, it shuts down and when I turn it back on a message pops up explaining ventilation for the plug and the console to stop them from overheating. So I ended up having to buy a brand new Xbox 360.
