I am a digger as well! The Indiana Dunes were open in the past to people living there (many abandoned houses) and once they bought all of the land to turn it into a national lake shore park...people were forced to move. They grandfathered some people, but I think this year or next year was the last year for some of them to leave. We go hiking out there where many other people will not go, and we find some of the most amazing bottle pits. Now I dont feel so crazy, there are others that do it! Keep on diggin!
