The listing, Antique Sterling Silver Ornate Handle has ended.

Not sure what this is or was. Someone suggested it may have been for a stamp of some sort.

As you can see by the pics it is nearly 4 inches long. The handle is likely filled, although it is not weighted. It is marked Sterling on both sides.

I had one like this back in the late 1960's and it had a stamper for wax I don't think mine was sterling though- cool item. F&W

I saw the sterling stamp. I said crazy because it is such a big piece! Most pieces that size are plated. I saw something similar in a antique store today. it was some sort of hook to make rag rugs out of. Just beautiful.
