...nice. I've just started collecting rough minerals and gems myself. I live near Hiddenite NC. I've a good box of river rocks that i don't know what to do with. I listed a few, but i'm almost scared that i'm giving away something of value.

I don't really know the calming effects of the various rocks. I've been stalking a few of yalls pages, trying to learn something.

I've been collecting for a few years now, not just for spiritual reasons, but also for their beauty (i sometimes like to incorporate them into jewelry as you can see). I prefer rough and untreated stones over faceted and chemically treated ones any day. I also have a huge interest in mineralogy and geology that i'd like to maybe some day make into a profession. I have no problem with you stalking around my page lol :p Looking around online is a great way to start!
