I wish I could. Anyone that can afford free shipping will just list it that way. The winning bids are usually at least four times higher. Those of us that can't don't need our noses rubbed in it.

Yes - coated metal. And pretty stronge - just once I got a little too ***** at a stubborn knot and bent one up. surprisingly, I bent it back and it still worked. I got a case of these, and turned out I only needed five or ten 'cause they last so much longer than the wimpy new bobby pins (bobby wires, i'd say)
