The listing, Tawashi Leaf dish scrubber/ skin exfoliater pattern has ended.
According to Listia I must state on my patterns that they are my originals. I assure you, this design is mine.
Japanese Tawashi, or dish scrubbies, have become popular crochet items over the past few years, perhaps because they are small, cute, and useful. They can be washed and dried, saving you money, and they don't get that awful and unhealthy smell like scrubbers you purchase from the store. I couldn't find a leaf design that wasn't written in Japanese, so I designed my own and it remains one of my most asked for patterns.
These are really addicting. Made with cotton, they are soft dusters, scrubbers and great little face cloths for removing make up. Made in acrylic (I personally like Red Heart yarn as it’s rougher than most other yarns) it’s a little more abrasive and works great for exfoliating your skin without being too harsh and is surprisingly good for tackling pots if you use them in the kitchen. The best part, it uses up lots of scraps. I've made hundreds of these, for myself, family, friends, raffles, and for the kitchen at work. They are fast and easy to make and like potato chips, you can't stop at just one.
The pattern will come as a PDF file straight to your email inbox you indicate at auction's end.
