The listing, 4 Old Saki Dragonware ? Cups has ended.

There are 4 of these. They have dragons on them, but I'm not an expert, and can't say if these are dragonware or not, it does certainly look like it though. These are NOT in mint condition, so if you're wanting something in mint condition, please don't bid. The dragons themselves seem to be in great condition, but the signs on the back of the cups are missing some paint on all of them. Also, one has a tiny chip on top. They measure about 1 1/4" high, and 2" across. These would be great for decoration, for a alter, or just about anything. Great set, even with the condition issues. Happy Bidding!

Questions & Comments

If you look into the cup with the cup in the air can you see a geshia? if so its a lithopane, if not no big deal. some sake cups don't show a picture unless there is liquid in the cup. This pattern is considered dragon ware.

Thank you so much for your information! I looked, and don't see a geshia. These are from an estate sale, and I was told they are very old. That's about all I know. Thanks for your interest.
