Size? Is this new? Any maker markings?

it is 2 1/14 width and 1 1/2 inches in length. It is not new, as in - new in package... It was part of my dragonfly collection. When given to me, I put it in my closed case curio cabinet, and there it sat. I do not see any markings. I am pretty sure that this is a modern piece.
