This auction is for a vintage, one of a kind, ring that my g-ma had made years and years ago. there are some signs of wear or scratches in the silver but this ring is almost 75 years old and actually it really needs to be taken to a jeweler to be cleaned. I used the silver cleaner I have here at home but it is not as good as what they have at jewelers. There are also very minor scratches on the exterior of the amethyist. they are hardly noticeable. This is a very unique statement piece! The big square piece of amethyst in the setting is a half an inch in diameter and a quarter of an inch high. The silver work on the band is incredibly intricate! everytime I have worn this ring it has become a conversation piece :-) the 925 silver mark is on the inside near the stone.
