This sweet locket is small, but very Large on Vintage & sentimental appeal.
It is of High quality & very well made, although unbranded as to maker or metal purity. So I must say Gold tone metal.
The heart shaped, faceted stone is glass & mimics a Sapphire. It is heart shaped & measures a petite 3/4" x 3/4".
The Locket opens & has a nicely made hinge.
Inside is a lovely, cherubic photo of a young, tow headed, child. So very Sweet, indeed~~~
Obviously, the winner may replace the photo, & add one of personal significance. This type of item is ageless.

I can see this as a Gift for a Mom, Grand Mom, Sister, Daughter or Friend. It would make an excellent Graduation Gift or Confirmation. Perhaps though, it has run away with your Heart & you wish to keep it for yourself, as a remembrance of a Special Loved one.

Oh my. This item brings back some wonderful memories. My Father bought me one of these pendant necklaces, that was accompanied by a matching bracelet and ring, when I was a toddler, and I loved it so. I'll be 58 yrs old this coming Thursday, June 12th, and it still is a precious memory for me. Thank you for listing this wonderful item. I hope that who ever wins this beautiful piece, gifts it to a child, so they may have the opportunity to wear it and have the wonderful memories as I have had over the years. :0)
