The value of this ring in particular is roughly around $400-$500 depending on the appraiser. I checked at my local one and they estimated $450. I also looked up a site to see what the going CTW was for todays market and found it here: http://www.adiamondbuyingguide.com/diamondpriceguide.html

You also have to take in the consideration of the type of clarity and the cut of the diamond as well. This ring retail "was" $4,600. In the market now, your most likely to be correct that it being lower than the retail price, especially it being used. Still this ring carries real diamonds and even though it's 14k gold plated, it's still sterling silver on the inside and is like you said, a nice ring.

Nice ring but I know it is not worth any where near that much since its a very low ct weight and its gold plated. A whole diamond ct going for more than $1000 in todays market. .20 is not going to be worth near that. But it is a nice ring.
