Description
The listing, Eisenhower "Ike" Bicentennial One Dollar Coin has ended.
The Eisenhower "Ike" Dollar honors the 34th president of the United States and the historic moon landings that began in 1969. Although sometimes called a "silver dollar", the coins minted for circulation were made out of a copper-nickel base metal. Some 40% silver coins were minted for collectors in both proof and uncirculated finishes. In order to commemorate the United States' Bicentennial, dual dated coins (1776–1976) were made in both 1975 and 1976
