This coin is not platinum, it is plated with platinum and highlighted with gold. Very pretty, but without intrinsic value beyond the original dollar.
Too bad- if it were really platinum, it would be worth nearly $400!

lauraleearnold-did some searching and Woozle31 in right the are plated with platinum(not pure platinum as i thought)then highlighted with the gold-my misunderstandig of coin in begining
