The listing, Blackberry has ended.

Never used Blackberry (Pearl I believe.) I got it and couldn't figure out how to use it and my carrier wouldn't let me return it. It's just been sitting here for over a year. It's in brand new condition. The phone says Alltel on it, but since the merger with Verizon I called Verizon and they can hook it up.

The only way for you to be able to get a account if the phone is altell is to have a account already with altell had the same problem with a fone i won off here

I just assumed Alltel went out of business when, they merged with Verizon. So Justin, you are saying Alltel is still operating in other regions? If that is so, Alltel can activate this phone,OR if if you had Alltel that merged with Verizon, I've already called and they will hook it up too. If Alltel is still in business they would defiitely hook up the phone, and the other carriers won't. Sorry for any confusion.

My bad, I assumer wrong. I just looked up Alltel and they are still very much in business, in other areas of the country. Looks like there merger was only in certain markets.
