This brooch is a good example of both.

It is made of Silver tone metal & is well constructed. The fluidity of the flower petals conveys a sense of movement, as if beeing blown by a Spring breese~~ a very nice execution of design. At 2 inches in diameter, this brooch is not a wall flower, it wants t be seen & enjoyed.

I am not all together certain of age, but feel it fair to speculate the 1960's-70's. It has been well taken care of & appears new.

BONUS+++++++ There is a lovely pair of Emmons clip on earrings shown with this Brooch in some of the photos.
