I recommend starting these off in a planter spaced out about 3-4 inches. Make a small hole in your soil about 1/2 an inch to 1 inch deep for your seed. Loosely cover with soil and water. Do not over water. Water just enough to dampen soil. Water every 3-4 days. Usually you will begin to have seedlings within 7 days. These grow very fast. About the time they are about 12in they can be transferred to where you want them permanently. Within the first 9-12 months they can grow over 10 feet.
