The listing, NAMELESS HOMELESS VINTAGE JAPANESE GIRL DOLL STATUE NEEDS ADOPTION has ended.
She is 11-3/4" tall including the base. She’s dressed in vibrant traditional clothing made from vintage fabrics (some sun-fading in spots) with beads on the ends of the "scarf" that she is wearing. Underneath her dress is a pant and slip combination made from what appears to be a cheesecloth type fabric. She is stuffed with some type of plant material. Her arms are wired and bendable. She is attached to a 2-1/2"x2-3/4" wooden base that is painted blue. Her face appears to be hand-painted and her hair, which is twisted into a chignon, is made of extremely fine threads (silk?). I can find no markings on her to tell where she originated, but my guess is that she is of Japanese ancestry.
