The listing, Hippie Chick Patchwork Hand Bag or Tote Bag has ended.

Patchwork fabric reinvested, so to speak. This is not a patchwork print. Every little patch was sewn on separately. Notice the embroidery work, too, of house, cat, barn, watering can, wheelbarrow and Sunbonnet Sue! The original buttons and buttonholes are still there although it's been sewn closed. The back fabric of the vest was used to make two interior pockets. Edged with cotton navy and tan striped bias binding, handmade by me.

Measures 21" H. x 11" W., with an 8" drop in the handle area.

Cotton fabrics. Washable in warm water and mild soap; machine or air dry.

Yes, it is made using the vest front, and lined with the vest back.

Oops! Correction...The vest back was used for interior pockets. The two front pieces of the vest were used for the exterior of the bag.
