The listing, 18 karat gold Burmese Ruby Pinky Ring has ended.

This is an authentic ruby ring done in 18 karat gold that was made for me while in India 20 years ago. The Burmese ruby is close to 1/2 karat and measures approx. 1/8" x almost 1/4 ". I understand the weight is what determines the size though. The gold is 18 karat and has that yellow look to it. The ring is very small and the diameter is a little less than 3/4 inch. It is a beautiful ring and I am only selling it because I am desperate for money. Thanks for looking.

The ring is not stamped 18k. It was made for me in India. You just have to believe it or move on. The picture should help.

Sorry Geraldine. You are right. I wish it was stamped but it isn't. Labor is cheap in India and they make things that you want fairly quickly and I guess are more relaxed about marking them. If you win it you won't be disappointed.

I just tried measuring it and the width is slightly less than 3/4". I hope that helps. I believe you could resize it because the gold is quite thick.
