Description
The listing, Sealed Inverted Jenny $2 USPS Stamps has ended.
The history of the Jenny's date back to 1918 where a mistake was made showing the airplane upside down. The 100 stamps escaped into circulation went on to fetch a huge payday for their respected owners. A block of 4 stamps sold for $2.7m in 2005 making them the most valuable stamps ever.
These new school Jenny's produced in 2013, are the opposite of the old ones. They are printed upside down with 100 right side up ones being put into circulation to match the legendary ones of the past. These stamps come sealed in plastic and cardboard so that their true identity is not known prior. The best part of these stamps is that there is no loser! Even if you don't get the right side up planes, you still have 6 stamps with a denomination value of $2.00 each which is great for mailing packages! Best case scenario is that you find one of the elusive packs that contains the right side up planes which will be accompanied by a letter from the postmaster general verifying the stamps. These new aged Jenny's have gone for between $10,000 - $25,000. So essentially this is a free lottery system where you either get $12 worth of stamps...or the collectors edition of Jenny Airplanes!
Good luck to all!
