This is a month old thermometer of extreme accuracy and quality. It is the same thermometer you will see being used in almost every hospital or health care system. I was a nurse and I bought it to have my own personal one for work but I did not want to take a chance on ruining a $400.00 thermometer when we had 100 at the hospital. It has only been used three to five times only at my house personally. It comes with the DVD user manual and a bonus of 500 probe covers obviously new and never used as they are single use covers. That alone is about $50.00 retail and I'm giving it away with the thermometer. I listed it under baby because it can be used orally and axillary ( arm pit ). Which with babies you use axillary until the are toddlers. It takes temperature in °F and °C. It also can be used rectally however you must buy and change the blue barrier on top which also comes with a separate probe. That is a separate item you have to buy if needed, it does not come with them new unless you spend $600.00 for a set of two thermometers. I guarantee this 100%. If I sent it in the original box anyone would think it to be new. Someone will get a amazing thermometer at a great price along with enough probe covers to last years. Don't hesitate.
