FREE: Very old US 2c stamp from 1883 with George Washington

The listing, Very old US 2c stamp from 1883 with George Washington has ended.

Up for grabs is a really old US stamp-- it's a 2c red-brown with George Washington, I believe it is Scott number 210 from 1883. It is in used condition with what seems like a very light postmark for such an old stamp. It's not in *perfect* condition, but not bad for a 130 year old stamp!

Here's the bigger scoop: My mom and stepdad both passed away a few years ago, and I've been going through some of their old stuff-- they were both dedicated "savers" of everything. In some ways, I guess they were borderline "hoarders." My stepdad accumultaed stamps, and this is from his collection-- although it's more like a giant pile of messy album pages and envelopes.

I think people should have fun bidding on stuff-- that's what auctions are all about! So the starting bids for my stuff will always be is FIVE credits, and we go from there, no matter HOW valuable something might be.
